Presidio Group was winning deals in the room but losing them before the first meeting. The website wasn't keeping pace with the firm's reputation.
Presidio Group had grown to 160 employees and $34M in ARR, but their website was 4 years old — slow, generic, and built for a company half the size. Sales leadership reported prospects frequently mentioning the website didn't reflect the firm's capabilities. Pipeline review revealed prospects were averaging 1.2 pages per session before dropping.
A competitor had recently relaunched with a dramatically more modern site, increasing urgency. The gap was no longer theoretical — it was showing up in sales calls. Prospects who had already evaluated the site arrived with different expectations than those who hadn't, and not in a positive direction.
The mandate: rebuild the site around what the firm actually wanted prospects to believe, using the evidence and outcomes that made Presidio's track record worth presenting — not generic service descriptions that every competitor used as well.
We kicked off with stakeholder interviews across sales, marketing, and practice leadership to understand what the firm actually wanted prospects to believe about them. We ran usability sessions with 8 prospective clients to map where the current experience created friction or confusion. The core finding: Presidio's homepage spoke to services, not outcomes. Prospects couldn't quickly answer "why them vs. a competitor."
We rebuilt the site around proof — case metrics, practice credibility, and a frictionless discovery path. Every page was structured to give the right answer to the question a prospect at that stage of evaluation would ask: capabilities, track record, team, and the easiest possible path to a first conversation.
